WINTER WONDERLAND

The view from chalet Cassamotte on the Alps, overlooking Megève facing the Mont Blanc, is unforgettable.

Cassamotte is a human-sized chalet, cosy and extremely comfortable. The decoration is warm, mixing old parts of the building with contemporary elements. You will enjoy 250 m2, spread over 3 levels, 2 ground floor levels and one floor, offering 4 beautiful bedrooms. The first floor offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large cupboards. The master bedroom is equipped with a desk and aTV screen, and opens onto the large balcony with a panoramic window overlooking the Mont Blanc.
The arrival level also offers 1 other beautiful bedroom all in old wood, with en-suite bathroom, independant toilets. There is also a fifth extra bedroom if required. Each room is equipped with 4**** hotel bedding, white linen, satin band duvet covers. The main floor includes the lounge and dining room, offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains: Mont Blanc, Mont d’Arbois, Rochebrune, Côte 2000, and the Val d’Arly.

SUMMER BREAK IN THE MOUNTAINS

When the sun and summer are back, you can enjoy the wood-covered terrace, topped by a splendid period mazot, and, relaxing in your garden furniture, you will contemplate the Mont Blanc. On the other wooded terrace, you will contemplate the Val d’Arly and the Christomet.

In the summer, you can walk down the mountain pastures to Megeve, crossing the Mottaz farm to stock up on organic vegetables and jams! Also, starting directly from the chalet, there are countless walks in the Alpine pastures, with links to typical Alpine restaurants.

You will stay at the place called “Mont de la Mottaz”, 5 minutes from the village center. Located on the sunniest side of Megève, above the Jaillet gondola, the chalet Cassamotte is south facing. It is part of a typical hamlet of Alpine chalets surrounded by 2 magnificent and traditional old Alpine farmhouses dating from 1750. Chalet Cassamotte is part of a preserved and bucolic environment, in absolute calm, without promiscuity of other surrounding chalets. This place is an exceptional site in Megève, not much built, and which benefits from the most beautiful view of the domain.

The chalet Cassamotte being built on a very little urbanized area, you will have this facility to reach the center of the village in 2 minutes, avoiding any traffic jam.

The gondola station of the Jaillet rents bikes in the summer, especially all-terrain and electric bikes.

Megeve can be reached by walk in the summer, going down by the chemin de la Mottaz, and in winter by road.
